Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how QuickFaceSwap ("we", "us") handles your data when you use our AI face swap tool at quickfaceswap.com.
1. Data We Collect
When you use the face swap tool, we process the following data:
- Uploaded images — the source face photo and target photo you submit for face swapping. These are transmitted to our AI processing provider and automatically deleted from our storage within 1 hour.
- Generated result images — the face-swapped output. Also deleted within 1 hour.
- IP address (hashed) — we hash your IP address with a date stamp to enforce daily free usage limits. We do not store the original IP address.
- Cookies — we use minimal cookies for analytics. See our Cookie Policy.
- Usage data — aggregated, anonymized event data (page views, button clicks, success/error counts).
2. How We Use Your Data
- To perform the face swap operation you requested.
- To enforce daily free usage limits and prevent abuse.
- To improve the tool's quality and performance (using aggregated, anonymized data only).
- To monitor for policy violations (content that violates our Content Policy).
We do not:
- Train AI models on your uploaded images.
- Sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
- Store your original photos beyond the 1-hour processing window.
- Link your face swaps to a personal identity (we don't have user accounts).
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the tool:
- Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, R2 storage, KV) — website hosting, API processing, and temporary image storage. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Replicate — AI face swap model provider. Your uploaded images are transmitted to Replicate for processing and deleted per their policy. Replicate Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic analytics. Google Privacy Policy.
4. Data Retention
- Uploaded and generated images: automatically deleted within 1 hour.
- IP hashes: retained for 24 hours, then automatically purged.
- Aggregated analytics: retained indefinitely (cannot be linked to individuals).
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- California (CCPA): Right to know, delete, and opt-out of sale. We do not sell personal data.
- EU/UK (GDPR): Right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object.
- To exercise any right, contact privacy@quickfaceswap.com.
Since we don't maintain user accounts and auto-delete images within 1 hour, most data about you is already gone by the time you contact us. We will still respond to all requests within 30 days.
6. Children's Privacy
This service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used this service, contact us immediately. Uploading images of minors is strictly prohibited (see Content Policy).
7. AI-Generated Content
Results from this tool are AI-generated. We do not store the generated images beyond 1 hour and cannot recreate them without the original inputs (which are also deleted).
8. Security
We use industry-standard practices (HTTPS, hashed IPs, no long-term storage of sensitive images). However, no internet service is 100% secure. Avoid uploading sensitive photos.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We'll update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
